no harmony between subjects, elements behind and top left are distracting, color might have been the way to go here with the dresses. If you want to stay B&W might want to concentrate on elements drawing attention to the subjects with light on dark or dark on light type subject/background relationships. Not bad here, but overall feeling is...meh.

personally, I don't care for the tones in this one ... Cinco de Mayo is such a colorful celebration ... using those vibrant colors in your image would have made it much stronger ...

I think it would have been better in color, to show off all the colors on their dresses. IMHO
