Tangerine Crossvineby PDavisComment: You need a little more depth of field. It feels odd to look at a picture that has unfocused things infront of the main subject. If you had focused on the front buds, or captured all of them in focus this would be a much straonger picture. What you do have in focus is very nice, there's just too little of it. |

Those Eyesby damianprofetaComment: This photo would be better if it had sharper focus and contrast. Also, too many filters were used in this contest. In my opinion they really don't stand a chance against the crisp contrast of a smaller amount of orange used as the primary focus. |

Dryas iulia (Julia)by ArtifactsComment: You did a great job focusing, because the wings are in focus and the petals are not the butterfly is the main subject even thought my eye is drawn to the petals of the flower first. Also, the pink shadows the orange nicely. Nice choice on the diagonal composition as well. |
