Wheel of timeby silverleafComment: I think there's a bit too much dynamic range in this picture - between the bright highlights at the top of the wheel and the very dark shadows it's hard to get a feel for the rust color. An overcast day, or something to diffuse the light, or maybe some fill flash for the shadows could help here. |

The Rooster Crows!!by tolovemoonComment: The highlights on the horseshoe are blown out and the whole picture looks a bit too soft. Looks like the focus is on the rooster's neck. Might want to try re-taking this on an overcast day or using something to shade the foreground to get rid of the harsh highlight, and try changing the focus point. |

Rustic Lizardby PDavisComment: This photo strikes me as funny - kinda looks like a vomiting lizard. Might be a good candidate for selective coloring if this were an advanced editing rules challenge to up the contrast between the sculpture and the rock. |

Decaying Farmby Polar7Comment: The aging/derelict mood has been nicely captured - certainly meets the spirit of the challenge even if it is of "rusty" wood. Might be improved slightly if the very left corner of the roof wasn't cut off and if the color balance was a bit warmer. |
