odd place for an iron elephant. lol. I like how well he stands out on the blue sky. very nice job picking day and time to shoot this elephant. focus and clarity are good, and I like the placement of the subject within the photo. did you try different angles or placements? I wonder how this would look with a slight boost of saturation? something to try anyway. I like it. ~Heather~ |

A bit too central...how about to the left, so we can follow his gaze out into the sky/down the hill?? |

You've got Tantor smack dab in the center of the image. This is very static. A more horizontal composition, with some space to the right for Tantor to look off into, would be more dynamic, even if it was just empty sky. |

Seems like a great vacation snapshot. Both the foreground and the background lack interest and the elephant itself seems more a curiosity than an object worthy of more than a passing interest. |

Interesting subject. The lighting is quite harsh, though. |

You could have moved in bit closer, maintaining the low point of view, and this would have been really impressive. The elephant doesn't look quite imposing enough from this distance. Less sky in the background would also increase the hugeness of the elephant. Nice rust find! |

Nice picture good blue color in the sky, I think it could use a bit more contrast though |

Nice composition, but a littled centered for me. Colors work well together. The thin line beneath the belly is a tad distracting. |
