Pet me too Please!by sfmorrisComment: Cute snapshot. Im sure the relatives/owners of both the child and horses find this extremely cute. However for me, being neither a fan of either I will say the clarity is nice, the composition I don't care for. Too centered with the action. The colours are nicely contrasted and the dof works. Just does not pop for me. |

The Vampby steve100Comment: I read the title and you completely lose me. Not that it had much to go on in the first place. There should be more contrast or at least a highlight along the hat so the viewer doesn't lose it into the background. It appears to be direct light which loses any depth of character. .... The Vamp. I would like to ask what here makes you see 'vamp'? Though I also need to ask what do you think a 'vamp' is? No judgment on the model, Or attacks, just observation of character portrayed within the image... The Tramp, may be a better title. More believable because of the wardrobe choice. Remember this has nothing to do with the model personally, only the visual of the image in front of me. |

Red Eye Tetraby freakin_hilariousComment: Interesting image. Not quite sure what I think of it but I do know it does not blow me out of the water. Im assuming this is a negative b/w maybe even a bit of solarization or something. Maybe not. Im sure it has its place but for here it is not quite. |

bella sorrisoby smardazComment: A cute portrait, though with the wrinkled sheet and the bright highlight on the side of her hair it causes a distraction. Also being a simple cute portrait may be nice for normal settings or for personal use however for a free study I feel it just does not give me enough. No drama or pop. Also the clarity could be sharper and the depth more recognizable. |

Stillnessby geinafetsComment: Simple clean portrait I am sure the model is extremely happy with. Though for this type of challenge it does not offer enough for me to give it two looks. Sure its clean, lighting is nice, and the colours work. Just nothing behind it. |

Ironingby UrfaKComment: Nice working portrait. However for me I would have liked camera angle to move to the right a bit. To bring in more of the front and less side. This would also or I should hope also get rid of the truck which is a distraction. Focus more on the worker and what they are doing, which includes their background which may be cords, or other items to iron and such. |

storm is comingby LevTComment: This image offers something but does not quite hand it over. There are many great elements here from the dramatic nature of the clouds to the drama of the water paths on land. The hint of great colour lays hidden within muted tones. There is hope here... but not just there. |

Blue watersby tinkie2010Comment: Nice simple image however the thin top/bottom border has to go. Being so thin and only on the top/bottom it adds nothing and only takes away from the image. However there really is nothing spectacular about this image, the interest lays mostly in the gradual colour fade as well as the disruption in the water. |

Pure Prairieby larryb52Comment: Nice simple image. There is some motion blur on the prairie grass which causes distraction but the trees all seem to be in focus. The clouds are kinda interesting. Though if this image was pushed a bit, make the colours pop and the contrasts scream it would be really fantastic. |

Escapeby njsabsComment: nice clean classic portrait. Maybe even commercial. Having the model against the wall/ground is a nice touch as well as the camera angle being above the eye. The contrasts are nice and upon second view I am going to bump the score a bit (which I rarely do). |
