Taken during an interactive lighting demo at school. We each had the opportunity to shoot the model during each lighting set-up. It's not the most unique image I took this month, but I know my other option would get murdered, and I like it too much for that! I like the expression I got from the model in this image.

Edit (Camera RAW):
- Up exposure (+0.2)
- Recovery (+20)

Edit (CS4):
- Spot heal skin
- Curves to correct for skin tone
- Curves to bring back/add blue-purple hue to background and hair
- Gaussian blur skin (0.9) > Mask back facial features and hair
- High pass sharpen on the facial features and hair
- Add slight vignette on left and bottom

Nice control of DoF on her face, and you've done a nice job with the lighting too.

beautiful model and overall nicely done - i am just wondering if a bit less harsh shadow on the face would really make this one shine

Simple clean portrait I am sure the model is extremely happy with. Though for this type of challenge it does not offer enough for me to give it two looks. Sure its clean, lighting is nice, and the colours work. Just nothing behind it.
