PERFECT CONTRAST on a difficult subject. Great detail. I applaud you on not sharpening the hell out of it. This is a harder shot to achieve than most people care to notice. Well done.

Your colors are very vibrant and they go together well.... but this is pretty out of focus. I'm not entirely sure what it is. Perhaps if you zoomed out a little it would give us a context to interpret it with... or a title. Great color.

Wow! This would be a nine or ten if he wa showing a little emotion. You did everything perfect that you could do technically. I'm ok with the centered composition because the red and white background is what really makes this photo great. Anyone who complains about your composition hasn't evaluated you photo enough. Color is part of composition too.... not just position. Well done.

I imagine that the original file was beautiful... perhaps a little out of focus. I have to say you did a terrific job getting an honest emotion in the photo. She looks intreaging. I think, in the end, it there is just too much Photoshoping. I understand you are going for a high-key high-contrast image but there are too many areas of solid black with no detail and white with rough edges. It has potential to be a terriffic photo.

This is my favorite so far. One suggestion I have (just a suggestion I'm giving this a 10) would be cloning out some of dead area of the tree with the vibrant green leaves. However, no matter how intricate of a cloning job you do it would be evident in a large print.... it would have been convincing on the web. Great job!

This is very well done.... especially with such a uncooperative subject. It is slightly oversharpened for my taste (strong halo) but I don't count off for that cause I know the original file was great too.

That wall by itself would have been a 10 in my book but the thing on the left just isn't photography to me, although I'm sure it was legal for the challenge, I doubt it helped your score.

I believe it would have been stronger had it been cropped one third of the way down... from where the light falls off the back. The pose of your hands (athough slightly over exposed) is very emotive and serves your title well.
