Day-4.jpgby ivale28Comment: oooh i like the nice understated selective desat. i wonder though maybe if there was more interest to the right then the leftmost window and the composition could maybe be shifted to the right to put papers and bench on respective thirds? But I don't know whats off shot - maybe just ignore me :) |

Not mounted as such but jammed in place between handlebars. |

Yes. In a.. errr.. risk-assessed environment of course :)
method:
Jam my point 'n' shoot's lens in handlebar, shoot a succession of shots at various jamm-able angles, delete the 90% that were blurred or which missed the bike. |

Oct 04 - Landscapeby hajekaComment: i cant put my finger on it, but i really like this. morning mist adds so much to photos..
I cant help thinking though that maybe a slight different crop might benefit it, to make the heron more prominent. |

day 4: retreatby ErinMComment: really good dof with the face so sharp; I like the b&w conversion too. And clearly the ruleofthirds composition works well too.
Did you selectively sharpen the face? |

Plugged inby JutildaComment: nice abstract study of shape - though i think it would do it more justice in print, as my first response was to tilt my laptop monitor til to try to work out the exposure you intended! (or maybe i just shouldnt view photos on here..) |

Actually this is just one RAW exposure - I still feel like a bit of a tourist here, so didnt have the guts to sit and take several as I suppose I should have done. Especially with quite long exposures (8s) and a loud shutter ;) |
