Wonderful.... so simple,yet so complete... I just love the composition and the theme. Not too sure about the shadows though... Maybe a bit harsh. But I would still give it a 10. I wish it ribbon!

Very well done. This one is worthed to stay on a magazine cover. I love the soft focus and the warm lighting. I wish I knew what is that white environement. It looks like feathers and like veil. A little bit of both, maybe? 10 from me. I am sure will do good.

Well Cathy... I will make a critique on this one but you have to promise not to tell Oscar. The idea it is good and meeting perfectly the challenge. The problems start when we look closer to the photo. You was out of focus on this one. Sharpening in PS wouldn't helped it either. You should have tried another shot. Then... is the cropping... You chopped out Oscar's claws and almost did so with his tail. I would have like to see more of his afternoon day. Right now, all I see it is that he is a dog. If he is watching, let us see what he is watching. Or if he is lazy, show him a bit with the surroundings. It would help a great deal. Cathy, this was The Critique Club. I hope after me The Congratulation Club will come and make it even.
Keep shooting, you will only get better and better.

Greetings from The Critique Club

I am afraid this picture is going to give me troubles. Is hard to tell someone that you don't like something. You might hurt his feeling and this is not at all my intention. Specially when looking through the portfolio, all the rest is so incredible beautiful. I am sorry. I think it is the red next to the shades of pink that makes me look away. That what it is. It hurts the eyes. Otherwise, the photo has something to tell for itself. It looks as much as a flame as it looks like a bird. The red is a very intense color and can suggest lots of things starting from love and ending with rage. But it doesn't help the picture. The focus is good, I like the spark in the eye of the eagle. Somewhere, probably in PS the photo got a bit noisy. Other than that, no more complains. Everything else is good. I really hate that I have to post something like this. The good thing is that I can edit this at any time so if you have any complains, PM me and I'll look again at it.
Anyway... is just my opinion... others might think different.
