A couple of notables on this picture. 1). the height of the lens was spot on.....as the glass rim heights are all equal. 2). the duplication of the primary color from the photo, in the 3 pixel border sandwiched between the 2 black borders, works very well. I am quite a fan of this particular process of bordering. Good job.

Photographing old weathered wood can produce wonderful textures and lines. This group might benefit from an even lower angle. Literally on the ground veiwing up and through.

This subject has good strong texture and lines.

A worn leather and a felt hat. These are two of life's finest wearables. These look like very comfortable and comforting items.

Nice picture.

I have shot many churches, but this capture is wonderful. I just want to see the top of the spire and arches.

moodville,

Just for the record, I was an English major and had 3 semesters in Arthurian Literature. Le Morte D'Artur was one of several that I read. Although as you surmise, I'm likely an exception.

Just added to my favorites. Recently had opportunity to travel to Ireland and spent a fair time in cemetary's photographing celtic crosses. Thanks for the photo.

Well done. I am a fan of the partial open door to frame a subject. I think it involves the veiwer more as a participant in the photograph.
