San Francisco Skylineby k3rmi7Comment: This is a familiar composition, but the range of tones is quite narrow here. Color may in fact have been a better choice, adn would help llift the skyline out of its background. |

Urban Blueby DufusComment: Nice idea, and great colors. I'm not sure that the buildings have an interesting enough outline to warrant a photo however. Maybe the same shot from a different location would have worked even better. |

Shapes of the Cityby faidoiComment: Try playing with levels on this one. The tones are quite washed out - so much so that the TransAmerica lacks a bit of punch against that white sky. |

Fog Cityby Pep VentosaComment: This is a step above the ordinary night cityscape shot. The fog really adds a lot here, and you did well to see and capture it. |

Top of the roofsby gstrotmannComment: I find your decision to crop off the top of the spire intriguing. It doesn't actually hurt the photo too much, because I know there's a spire there anyway. What it does do, however, is lead the eye out of the shot, which may not have been your original intention.
From a technical perspective, consider NeatImage to reduce the noise in the sky, and maybe a crop to remove the foliage on the right. |

Toronto skyline at duskby HRoxasComment: Nice colors - could almost be a Hopper painting. I'd like to see a bit more sharpness in the architecture though. This is a good composition - I lke how you've placed the taller buildings toward the center - but not dead on center. |

Ford Escort Cosworthby ronnersComment: Originally posted by RiderGal: I'm curious what the brownish thing is in the middle that comes to the top of the car? |
It's actually a pair of tree trunks beside the path. Thanks for your comment - exposure is very tough because of the desire for a longer shutter time. It was shot on film so I had little or no idea how it came out until processing much later. |

Yosemite Valley, Evening.by ronnersComment: David,
I'm in the process of getting a few submissions approved. This is one of them, and I've added a couple of color shots as well.

Across San Diego Bayby hgpayneComment: Great night shot, and wonderful composiition. You've managed to avoid blown out highlights and keep detail in the water surface which is very impressive. |
