Belgian trappist monastery breweryby InfinityComment: Nice photo! Greens are brilliant. I wish the whole of the building could be in the picture, but that may not have been possible. I do find the tree branch on the right to be distracting. My suggestion would've been to go for the area around that tower as the focus, that way the road and trees would've probably been out of the photo all together. I'd love to see a view from the end of that pond looking up the stairs. :) 6 |

Human Glaciersby melongrindComment: I have to admit I'm not sure what the title is referring to - I'm guessing humans dropping bits of trash as they go like glaciers did/do with rocks 'n the like. Could be wrong. Regardless, I love the colors from the painting on the wall and the different perspective on buildings. I think it fits the challenge well with a unique view. 7 |

McNay Art Museum - Main Entrance - ala 1950by JC_HomolaComment: I'm not sure if this had a filter on it, but it definitely has a different tone to it, it works with this photo. Gives it a painting look. I did find the statue distracting however, since its an urban landscape I think the building should be the focus, but I find my eyes drawn to the statue since its so forward in the picture, this lowered my vote a bit. Also looks like it could be a bit sharper. 6 |

Panther Statiumby jbolingComment: I do like the rainbow, but I found the photo to be a bit dark and that lessened the impact for me. Also has a slight glare in the top left corner - taken through a window?, making it all a bit unfocused. Still a nice shot. |

Are they buildings or commercials?by carrieannComment: Great color, very vibrant. Everything looks to be in good focus. As a personal preference I'd have cropped out more of the bottom so people's heads and tops of cars weren't in the shot. Very enjoyable. 7 |

Where the Sidewalk Endsby GrandmomComment: Great colors! I also like the contrast between the natural, ocean scene against the industrial building look. Only thing I found distracting was the buildings look a bit out of focus in the foreground. Not sure if this is from downsizing the picture or not. Still a nice photo! 7 |

afternoon reflections by tp-fcpComment: Wonderful color combinations as well as shape differences. I love the contrast of the organic curvature vs the solid angular look of the buildings. I also like how the water though a reflection has deeper tones. Very nice! 7 |

City viewingby jonpinkComment: I really like the unique view of the town in this photo. It really centers the eye on the subject.. that being the urban landscape. I also like the various colors represented with also help focus the eye on the inside away from the brown of whatever is being looked through. The only thing I found relatively distracting was the white border. I think it pulls away from the photo because it is already bordered.. by the circular construction. Nice job! 7 |

Old Brasovby smr78Comment: I found this photo intriguing. The sepia tone gives it an extra oomph I think. The building really stands out. I also like how the sky looks with the sepia tone. I realize its a busy area, but I'd suggest trying to get one with no one waking by- the people sitting are fine for me because they are lower, but the lady standing really distracts for me, the grass in the foreground does as well but to a lesser extent. Very nice over all though! Gave it a 7 |

Desirable Residenceby agwrightComment: Solid photo! I like the energy of the car lights against the sturdy solid looking buildings. The coloring is nice as well, makes the head & tail lights stand out even more. Well done. |
