Ahhhhhh, the quiet beach, must be early in the morning for it to be so quiet, or is it later in the evening? Hard to tell :)

This is a very peaceful shot and does lend a certain air of urban, very slight but there. The use of negative space on the top though hurts you a bit for me, if it was cropped a little tighter there and the color seems off also, not sure if I really like it or not. The DOF is pretty good considering the amount of land you were covering but the forefront could be a tad sharper. Raising my score by at least 3 points.

Great colors! I also like the contrast between the natural, ocean scene against the industrial building look. Only thing I found distracting was the buildings look a bit out of focus in the foreground. Not sure if this is from downsizing the picture or not. Still a nice photo! 7

Great composition and dreamy feeling. I would have fixed the purple colour cast due to wrong white ballance. There is way too much sky left, you could have zoomed more in or make it a landscape orientation to emphasize the dissapearing perspective.

A deserted beach - where and what time of day was this taken?

Very blue this photo, works okay actually. I get the feeling those buildings are leaning backwards

I hope you don't get too many complaints of "blurriness". I really think it adds to this. This has a surreal type look to it, and almost looks as though it could be an airbrushed graphic, rather than a photograph. Was the image this color naturally? It has a nice duotone quality to it. Overall very nice work. -9-

Nicely done. I like the lone figure in the water and the way the picture gets crisper going from the ocean to the buildings.

Very nice, i think theres a bit too much sky for this photo, if you took it in landscape instead of portrait it would show more of the buildings, and you wouldn't get all that negative space. The person in the water is a nice addition.7

Such a shame the horizon is wonky. A little too much noise, and too much magenta in the shadows. Other than that, great shot... very atmospheric. The person on the beach in the distance really makes this picture. 7
