This looks very inviting. I like how the rich colour of the long languid wooden door contrasts with the darker bricks and the weathered stairs and the green door so close by. The curve of the dormer window above it is echoed by the curved brick patterns of the tall upright - pleasing shapes. Squares, curves, reflections, this rich photograph has it all.

I like this - the grey tones & silvers blend together well but they also contrast enough to bring out the detailled work of the door and the framing Angels. The Angel of Summer holds Promise, the Angel of Autumn weeps.
