Tired shouldersby NiallOTuamaComment: You have a gift of keen observation and the ability to create a superb portrait which honors your subject. The simple basic human condition displayed in this is rendered beautifully. The lines & folds in the coat, repeating in the hands and again in the lined face & subtly greyed curving hair make a compelling study. If only,"and miles to go before I sleep." |

Smith Rock Sonataby DrAchooComment: This is a most powerful rockscape, craggy and towering and jagged reaching up to the Heavens in Bend and it is offset nicely by the serene blue of the night sky and the sprinkled starscape. Great landscape to linger over and back again. |

The Woundedby VitaminBComment: Poor beautiful creature - Nature, like Man, is sometimes quite cruel. |

Blue Mountainby jotagaComment: I love the shapes in this photograph - of the rocks and of the reflections which at first glance almost give one the impression of being in a cave looking out - that illusion is quite effective and powerful. Very tranquil, almost zen in its own way - you have a good eye to recognize this natural study and to capture it in such a way that it commands. |

Red and Blueby darnokComment: Breathtaking seascape with the smoothness of the tides and the red coloured sky setting off the most magnificent three way contrast between the Heavens, the dark of the rocks and the blue of the water. Superb capture, there is so much beauty for the eye to drink in and linger over, even in the shapes. |

Calamity by mBastinComment: Dark and portentious, it is the reflections of the unsettled lenticular clouds that dominate this landscape and make this very effective. One can almost sense the waiting for whatever event is going to unfold. Nicely done! |

Intenseby izadoodleComment: All hail the August King with golden eye and jungle-heart,
That valiant spirit, he of piercing gaze,
What shall we make of him, that wond'rous beast -
Brought down to quaint repose in summer's haze.
This is a superb photograph, much enjoyed. |
