the lone sailorby MiahComment: cool abstract shot. nice to see some creative art in the fray here. I hope that the "flower crew" here doesn't hit ya too hard - I like and appreciate this shot. I really like the parallel you drew here with the title. cool. |

Dead Treeby divineinspirationComment: well composed and good subject. A little too bright imo - I'd drop the brightness and up the contrast a bit. Just a thought. |

A Treeby yeamg4Comment: good atmospheric element. My only suggestion is to up the contrast a bit to make it more of a silhouette - but that's just a personal opinion. nice work. |

Not Alone So Much Longerby MonaComment: good idea and execution. I know that its easy to play monday morning quarterback...but my only suggestion would be to do another angle to get the branch out of frame. But having said that, I won't factor that into my scoring, because this was obviously a spur of the moment thing and complete creativity wins out over staged "studio" shots every time in my books. The vertical framing job is excellent as well. Nice work. |

Alone on the Play Groundby NeuferlandComment: good take on the category - i wouldn't have thought there was a way to convey "alone" with more than one person...but you proved me wrong - great idea. My only suggestion would be to use a higher shutter speed to freeze the action of the moving kids. Nice idea to use b/w, that always conveys more of an emotion. nice work. |

The Sentinelby TerryGeeComment: wow, look at the eyes on that one! very cool....looks like the bird from "V"...sorry obscure reference, don't ask where that came from...well besides that his eyes are scary.... good colors, and use of negative space. You led the main subject well too. nice work. |
