OK, I have to admit, I'm confused as to why you would enter this -- but beyond that.... If possible, please try to turn off the date stamp -- it can ruin really great photos. The levels here could use some work -- so that everythign isn't a totally flat color. Third, try a different composition instead of dead center for your subject. Though should get you started.

I like some of the motion blue with the people -- gives some energy to the pic. Wish there was something in the picture to really anchor my attention. Looks like you got a little bit of a light flare in the upper left. I wodner about a vertical crop that would center around the street running diagonally. That would remove the light flare and cut out the mostly portion to the right where nothing much seems to be happening.

Nicely timed catch. Good focus, nicely cropped. I'm guessing you were shooting behind glass at a zoo -- I see some of the same problems I have when I've shot similar pics in the zoo. The green tint to everything (should be relatively easy to clean up in an image editing program) and the ghosting up in the upper left corner (reflection off the glass from behind -- not so easy to fix). Course I may be wrong. I'd liek to see that green tint taken out -- and I think I would have cropped it a little closer to get rid of what looks like the bottom edge of the window along the bottom of the shot.

Fun use of a long shutter speed. Great sense of energy. The weird thing is, for me, it looks like all the sparks are getting sucked into the bottle. If I'm gonna be picky, I wish the arm wasn't blurred -- maybe propping it on something to reduce that a little? Great shot.

Good use of a dead/frozen bee. Would have given this top mark but for what I see as a few small flaws. First the focus isn't quite where it needs to be -- the bee is a little out of focus. Second, while I really like the simple background, I wish it was some other color that could accentuate the bee and fingertip. Finally, the bee looks dead because the antennas are hanging down. (Hopefully I'm not being ignorant and bee antennas do hang down -- if they do, well, I messed up.) Very clever idea though.

Who says "busy" pics can't work. The lines and angles in this are great. B&W was perfect (but a sepia tone might work well too).

Interesting expression and composition. The focus and grain on this one doesn't help though, I don't think. The logo on the shirt also has a bit too much of a presence in this picture.

Sorry, not getting the joke. This looks like it could use a little sharpening to bring out a crisp focus. The bottoms of the two interstate signs at the top of the screen are distracting. Since I don't get the joke, I'm hesitant to suggest any alternative crops.

Fun picture -- can't way to live in a house and get my own dog. Nicely composed/cropped, good focus. The person's face is a little bit over-exposed, I think -- but not too badly so. I wish I could see more of a lick than just that tiny fraction of the tongue sticking out of the dog's mouth.

Love all the seagulls lined up -- and marvelous catch with the one coming in to land. I think a vertical shot would better emphasize the picture than a horizontal one. The picture overall seems extremely soft and/or out of focus. The colors are also very contrasty. I wish more of the seagulls were looking at the camera instead of away -- but animals don't always do what you want. ;-)
