Queenby srdanzComment: Nice close-up...black and white was a nice choice. Good tones and texture.
She looks sad.
The right eye (left in photo) looks odd. Wondering if extra sun light was cloned out. |

The story of a hundred yearsby EnnilComment: Very emotive photo. Composition and hand position is nice.
I think converting to black and white, brightening the right side and bumping the contrast up just a smidge would really make this top notch. |

Butterflyby awinibhatComment: I'm thinking wrong challenge?
Not a horrible butterfly/flower photo - but really doesn't fit the challenge. Focus is a bit soft and the lighting is too harsh.
I'm actually thinking this will be DQ'd due to the time stamp. |

Winter Afternoon Driveby popdeepopComment: ;-) This road and fence look SO familiar.
Nice perspective. I would like to see this at a different time of day with less shadows. BoL |

Ice Talonsby RikkiComment: Very nice - like the color and sharp (in more ways than one) main subject. |

Memory Lane by ajschelComment: Wow. This photo is tremendous. The impact from first view packs a whallop.
Excellent tones and composition. The vanishing point draws you right into it. A definite 10! |

1642 - English Civil Warby FalcComment: Wonderful image. Has a very oil painting look. I keep staring at this one.
The only thing that I would change (and this is just me - others probably won't agree) - I think I would prefer it if the man on the right was in a different position. I keep focusing on his stretch across the table.
Otherwise, I love it. |

Lory Birdby ginjerComment: Good sharpness on the top of the bird's head - and nice blur to some of the background. However, I don't find the angle and composition of this photo appealing. I think this is too close and would rather see a more natural and upright angle. |

flightby StagoleeComment: Great caputure & timing. The photo looks a bit flat to me. I think this photo would benefit greatly with an increase in contrast. |
