Out of focus and not the best angle for this image in my opinion |

I like the vibrant colors, and how you can see the texture of the feathers. but I'd like to see more of the face. |

I am not sure that the top of his head is the most flattering pose for this subject. Nice colour though. |

Excellant detail. I like the different perspective to the other lorikeet photographs in this challenge. |

interesting and different perspective; sharp detail of the feathers; maybe clone some of the white specks. |

A unique shot at a pecular angle.
I think it is the best macro that I've seen in dpchallange.
Really nice job |

This angle is not so attractive, the beak and eyes are what really make this bird special aside from the splendid colors.. |

great detail on the feathers, but as a macro, it's more like something you'd see while practicing. Doesn't really draw the viewer in, the lighting is a little flat, and the colors too "light", and lacking the deep feeling that would draw them out. |

Nice unusual angle to take this from, and it shows the feather detail really nicely :) |

Nice detail in the feathers and great colors. I'd like to see some bottom and left cropped off the gray and green blur pull my eyes away from the bird. I know you want to watch not to crop the beak too close - perhaps if you tilted the picture a bit clockwise first? |

Nice angle. The flecks of white are distracting however. |

Intersting angle - not sure I'm liking it though. Probably just a erpsonal preference, as I like to see the faces - especially the eyes of living creatures. Nice colors and shallow DOF. |

Good sharpness on the top of the bird's head - and nice blur to some of the background. However, I don't find the angle and composition of this photo appealing. I think this is too close and would rather see a more natural and upright angle. |

Nice blue feathers! Clever macro - I wonder if a tighter crop wold have made the image more of an abstract, since we cant see the bird anyways, but I don't see a god alternative. the lower right seems to mute the color overall, just by covering up a little of the gray makes the blue bluer. Something to learn next is how to clone out the white spots. |

These are just awesome colors in this shot. A very unique point of view here, from the top. I really like how you've used dof, and this pov to show off what the shot is all about- the colors. Very nice pic :-) |
