Building Frame at Nightby BuzzleComment: Thanks for the comments.
I did notice after I uploaded that the exposure did seem a bit much. It's funny that when I looked at it in photoshop, it seemed reasonable. However in a browser it looks a bit worse.
Also, mixed reviews about the guy in the photo. I was considering not having him in there but thought it would help with the scale. Even with him in there, the picture doesn't quite capture the grandeur of this site.
Checked my score earlier in the day and was about .5 off my personal best. Miraculously, it surpassed my previous top score by the end of voting. Thanks!!! |

Home Timeby BuzzleComment: Thanks everyone for their comments. I do appreciate them all. I am very pleased with this result. I think it did quite well considering it was my second entry (my first one bombed), and all the confusion about what abstract is. Some people think it is abstract while others do not.
Here is how I came of this photo. I was actually on the top level of a parking garage shooting some cranes adjacent (I really like cranes for some reason right now). I then noticed this building across the street and how with my angle the reflection led to the street below. Thought the warping windows and a long exposure would produce some neat results, and sure enough it did. All the windows with a mirror like reflection had their office lights turned off. The office in the image didn't, so I chose to focus mainly on that as I knew it would show in the exposure. |

Splash Stopby lucienwestComment: I think that using such a quick shutter speed defeats the purpose of the challenge in which you want to express the motion of the water. |

I'm Not Drinking Itby LokikeyComment: I appears that you are using a really quick shutter speed when the challenge would of suggested you either use a longer one to express motion, or move your camera. |

The Spinner! by slipintoshadowsComment: I think I would like this more if the carny wasn't blocking what I think is the main subject of the image. |

Nebula Dby colorcarnivalComment: I think I would like this more if there were no dice. It feels misplaced in the image you are creating. I like everything else about it however. |
