Summer Firesby maranelloboyComment: The purple stuff... that would be fire. Very wide range of temperatures in that fire up there, and the colors they created were just amazing.
Edit-
Also, I wasn't really that close the fire. I was maybe a 1/4 mile away at closest, and upwind of a relatively small fire. There are a few trees you can pick out for some size comparison. One of the easier ones is next to that hot spot just right of the pole at the very bottom. Message edited by author 2003-08-27 00:22:06. |

Sun, Moon, Starby PatellaComment: Wasn't this in my book of Temple Square pictures?
It's beautiful, and the symbols are perfect, from their clarity, to their placement in the shot. Just marvellous in every aspect.
Aside from the symbolism, the SLC temple is one of the most beautiful structures I've ever seen. Being there yesterday for my brothers wedding, I was blown away by it like I never have before. |

Out of the Windby Geo_GriffinComment: Too much negative space here. If the subject were up and to the right a bit, I think it might have been okay. |

Summer Field by agwrightComment: I like the composition of this one. Darker clouds in the top third, with the trees and field in the bottom third. The color of those clouds above the trees looks sureal. Pretty good shot. |

Summer WIld Flowers on Mt. Rainierby fluxnComment: Nice colors, but I feel like the subect is crossing out of frame. Maybe if you had centered the flower at the top over the top left intersection (rule of thirds), it would have made a lovely composition. |
