A clever idea, but the lack of clear, sharp focus on the challenge subject makes it less than successful both in an artistic and technical sense. The crittr's face and expression take the viewer's eye away from the subject matter which is the tack. A little more thought and better framing would have brought the rating higher.

and hairy. Diffusing the light source would show off the berry a little better imo. For the most part the lighting looks good. It's just that one spot there that could be diffused a little. Maybe an added fill light on the right could show off the hairy stem a little better too. The colors look pretty good though.

For the record I gave you a 5 on this image. My comment might not have shown that I got the humor in it but I didn't give a 1 to you because of it. I thought the actual shot was nice but there were just plenty more in the postcard challenge that were better.
