Comment by Tim:
not a bad action shot, I like the frozen splash and the facial expression but your processing seems to have given a very plastic feel to the finished photo, prehaps your jpeg compression was a bit too strong? Also the photo is too small - if you had used the full 640 pixel allowance then the loss of detail from the jpeg compression would be less of a problem.

Comment by BrennanOB:
Bigger is better. nice motion stop, but the detail in the water is lessened by the less than 640 pixel count on the long side.

A little bit skew? Doesn't do it for me, sorry. A bit of a mosaic effect happening but I don't like the coloured columns and it just seems too busy?

Comment by moonwell:
The symetrical composition adds no interest to this shot. The subject matter is not very interesting from this distance. I think a closer shot that included only a few blocks would make for a much more interesting photo.

Thsi would be lovely with a cuple of changes - Straighten the picture - by rotating it right (I think right is right). Make it 640 on the longest side. After resizing ... sharpedn .. this will ensure the lines are crisper. I do like your concept .. I think better execution and it would have scored better.
