Using the window to light the post, this was back lit natually. only ps was contrast adjustment and color adjustment (both auto)

A little bit skew? Doesn't do it for me, sorry. A bit of a mosaic effect happening but I don't like the coloured columns and it just seems too busy?

The symetrical composition adds no interest to this shot. The subject matter is not very interesting from this distance. I think a closer shot that included only a few blocks would make for a much more interesting photo.

Thsi would be lovely with a cuple of changes - Straighten the picture - by rotating it right (I think right is right). Make it 640 on the longest side. After resizing ... sharpedn .. this will ensure the lines are crisper. I do like your concept .. I think better execution and it would have scored better.

I'd prefer to see this rotated to get the true effect of the square shapes. It would also be nice if the three columns became more highlighted by the backlighting, looks like a dreary day outside!
