Why the "4 aperture" and "500 shutter speed"? To get better focus on the whole picture it should be the opposite. 180 shutter speed and maybe 10-12 aperture.. could play with it to get the lighting just right.

this shot is just amazing...perfect tonal range, exposure is spot on, especially tough with the bright horizon and the dark areas around the stacks. this is a quick fav for me...great job, and congrats on your first of more than likely many ribbons.
