Keep out of reach of childrenby Beautiful-JoeComment by abranton: I think this shot is pretty neat. With your comments above, I would be interested to see what the close up shot of the bubbles looks like. If the challenge is "bubbles" you could have probably gotten away with it & everyone would know what it was. I like how the subject isn't centered in the picture & I love the bright blue color. Maybe a little tighter crop could have worked, but I see you had to leave a lot in so people would know what it was. I am new to editing pictures so that is about all I can offer :) Keep up the good work. |

Biggest Moon I've ever seen.by Beautiful-JoeComment by Germaine: That was some moon, Joe.
Actually, I like the noise in this shot -- those little colored speckles are pretty cool, IMNSHO.
You might be interested in searching the forum threads -- there is some very good information on calculating exposure for moon shots. |

An Egg That Was Never Found..by Beautiful-JoeComment by kevrobertson: in another challenge with a slightly better crisp focus (which you might have got with a little editing :), then this could be a top 20 shot.
I love the idea of it, but the focus is like all of mine, soft.
Keep going, you have the makings of a great photographer.

Doomedby Beautiful-JoeComment by lynnesite: Joe, this is spectacular. When I scroll the screen so that the top of the photo is cut off a little, it heightens its impact, losing that bit of tan wall and black edge. Looking forward to more from you, especially at this angle--but certainly not under the condition you were in. Cheers! |
