Why Cut Them Down?by Beautiful-JoeComment by photokid69: hi man
tnks for commenting.. thought id return the fav...
you got 182/288.. beat you by 150ish :)
i think a different time of day would help this shot out a bit.. around sunrise/set.. with some richer colors.
also.. i dont know about the little bit of road you got in on the left side of the photo.. maybe adjusting you position could help out the composition.
other an that.. keep shooting..
Rome wasnt built in a day :) |

Pure Fuzzby Beautiful-JoeComment by bobgaither: Pretty good Marco at least the subject. I just don't care for the lighted background I think you could darken that in ps to make this a better image. |

Pure Fuzzby Beautiful-JoeComment by Zoomdak: Great macro, doesn't say Pure to me though. Not even Pure Fuzz, because it it was pure fuzz, it would just be a fuzzball. |

Why Cut Them Down?by Beautiful-JoeComment by SaraR: Good to see you with a new PB, Joe! In the UK, logging is controlled by a government body, The Forestry Commission; only a certain percentage of a wood or forest can be felled at a time and a nature corridor has to be left so that wildlife can move on to a new area. |

Danglingby Beautiful-JoeComment by kteach: Wow, you tied the camera to the railing? I have a hard enough time lining my shots up straight when I'm looking through the viewfinder! I like the conversion to sepia here, and the expression is powerful. Nicely done! |

Why Cut Them Down?by Beautiful-JoeComment by JJWoolls: The horizon is too centered. I like the photo, but you can see too much of the foreground...
I am not a good photographer, I do not claim to be better than anyone, any criticism is meant to be constructive criticism...... |

Why Did the Turtle Cross the Road?by Beautiful-JoeComment by Beautiful-Joe: One of my friends told me the turtle was female.. And that they make good pets.. I could not resist.
I put her in a kiddy pool and dumped in a couple dozen shiners, and you should see the way she eats.. She grabs them by the head and chomps them in bit by bit. She likes snails too.. I've also found that she loves being petted on the throat and on the side of the head. She's amazingly tame now that she associates me with free food.. I let her run around in the yard too. I have a new best friend. xD |
