KatieNicole83Comment by gjumi: When I look at the photo, I see a handle, a metallic one, of the kind that you're supposed to press with the thumb and then push. This handle is put on a wooden door, without any fancy texture, design, or patterns. That is, one of the most common and boring doors out there. I don't know where this door leads, but I'd guess is one of those doors to some quite normal and usual, bordering with boring, rooms. It looks like a door of a family house.
Now, I pray tell me, how am I to relate this ordinary door with the excitement that the title asks? Is the composition such that evokes a dramatic moment? I don't think so, I even think that you didn't even bent your knees enough to push the handle on my face. Is the lightning such that the shadows cast evoke a sense of danger? No, I don't find them.
A photo is supposed to equal a thousand words. Your title made a thousand pictures on my mind, and none of them is the one you've taken.
So, to finally answer your question: yes, please enter, there's nothing spectacular on the other side.
