Doin' What I Doby Gman17Comment by MaryO: What a pretty bird! Some sort of kingfisher? I'd crop tighter on the right to keep the bird from being so centered. |

Doin' What I Doby Gman17Comment by HeiSch: good choice of DOF. could use a little more separation from the background. good timing of the shot |

Doin' What I Doby Gman17Comment by jdannels: I like the color of that bird, :) seems to be a abit out of focus though. maybe try a deeper DoF so it doesn't need to be as exact. I like how you got him eating too. |

The Great Grayby Gman17Comment by Dirt_Diver: This is an outstanding shot. Exactly how close were you before he flew away???
I bet he was like that the heck is this thing coming towards me...
IMO I think you should have cropped tighter to really show him off. The background on the left and right side blend way too much and a tighter crop would have really made this shot perfect. |

The Great Grayby Gman17Comment by noraneko: Nice capture of owl in natural setting! He's a beauty! I think cloning the two bright areas just to the right and left of his head would help keep the focus on him, but nicely done. |
