Somewhere in Timeby wtiradoComment by wtirado: The photo was actually in focus but I added the blur to reflect the actual scene in the movie. It never was really clear, you could make out the date then it blurred almost immediately. In hindsight I probably shouldn't have done it, or at least reduced the amount significantly. Somewhere in Timeby wtiradoComment by tate: I'm not familiar with that one so I can't score on that level. Picture-wise i think this is too tight on the subject to have any significance to the average person or to tell a story. Stepping back might also allow for beter focus. |

Somewhere in Timeby wtiradoComment by pcody: I loved that movie and the penny is the perfect thing to use to condense the whole mood. To get a better score it needs to be in focus and attention paid to the composition. Maybe not such a tight crop. Let the viewer see the whole hand with the penny in one of the rot positions. Maybe something else added from the other time period to contrast how he flipped back to the present time because of seeing the year on the penny. |
