portrait5.jpgby RefractedComment by Glen King: Very striking, I thnk I would crop in closer on the face. Maybe crop to the 2nd button on the bottom, and just above the hat. Fill the fram with the subject. |

portrait5.jpgby RefractedComment by OneSweetSin: The tones you have here are incredible and grab at your attention. However there is something slightly lacking overall. I think it is the cropping out of the shoulder that I find taking away from it or it could be a softness around the eyes. Overall it is very good just has room for some minor improvements. |

Nature's Eleganceby RefractedComment by willem: Very elegant, great colors and I love the narrow depth of field. I feel there is a bit too much going on in the top left corner and border area. I would crop away a very small part (approx 5%) of the left and the top, so the darkest parts visible in the border area are gone. It creates just a bit more rest in the picture. |

Nature's Eleganceby RefractedComment by TooCool: Focus appears to be a little TOO soft here. A touch more lighting or a boost in levels would help to bring out the shadows more also. Nice composition!

Nature's Eleganceby RefractedComment by RiderGal: Beautiful subject, and kind of abstract looking. I think there are a few things that might have improved this... first and foremost, the piece that I think you are trying to focus on is dead center, it might have been better to crop more putting it perhaps in the bottom left hand corner? Also I feel that a slight bit more dof might have helped. |
