While most abstracts are often unrecognizble, there still needs to be something to draw the viewer in. That and the soft focus probably would of kept this from scoring real well. Since I see her name below, you might want to looks at Ursula's portfolio for inspiration, she has very good macros/abstracts.

	maybe coulda shoulda by jorr Comment by Kaizer: Agree with Ursula on this one. I am no critique master but IMHO there seems to be a... refraction line (for want of a better word), that draws the eye and detracts from the photograph. Otherwise colours nice.

	maybe coulda shoulda by jorr Comment by ursula: I think it's a neat concept, and the colours are pretty. IMHO, for it to really work though it needs to have something that's the focus of the image, and something in focus. As it is, I don't really know what to look at. I hope this helps :)

	Lesser Blue Heron, Water is His Home by jorr Comment by puzzled: The reflection and position of this heron is nice. I like that there's nothing too complicated about the composition. Not sure if you meant for it to be grainy or have jpg artifacts (not sure what it is)... that's a slight drawback for my taste. Nice effort.
