| Appears out of focus and grainy. Too busy to be interesting. I expect you probably did the best thing by entering the other challenge! |

I don't think this photo really has a focal point of any kind. While most abstracts are often unrecognizble, there still needs to be something to draw the viewer in. That and the soft focus probably would of kept this from scoring real well.
Since I see her name below, you might want to looks at Ursula's portfolio for inspiration, she has very good macros/abstracts. |

| Agree with Ursula on this one. I am no critique master but IMHO there seems to be a... refraction line (for want of a better word), that draws the eye and detracts from the photograph. Otherwise colours nice. |

| I think it's a neat concept, and the colours are pretty. IMHO, for it to really work though it needs to have something that's the focus of the image, and something in focus. As it is, I don't really know what to look at. I hope this helps :) |
