Lunch Lungeby macmillanComment by zeuszen: Gorgeous.
I don't really mind the unusual placement of the bird leaving the image. Graphically, the arrow-like shape of the bird in an outer corner makes for dynamic composition. The texture (wings and body) appears somewhat (deliberately?) oversharpened, adding a proliferated contrast to the given tedium of the water. |

Lunch Lungeby macmillanComment by bod: Beautiful capture. If only it wasn't about to smack into the corner of the frame :-/ |

Lunch Lungeby macmillanComment by ellamay: I like the shades of gray of his feathers, and I think you used his flying out of the picture to your advantage by making her so extreme in the corner. |

Lunch Lungeby macmillanComment by Swashbuckler: Very cool, detailed photo! Love everything about this, except the framing. You might lose some points for it. If possible, you should have the bird in the opposite corner, so the viewer has the feel of seeing what the bird is seeing (or at least in that same direction). I'm not going to "nick" you any points for it, as I realize this would have been an extremely difficult shot. 10 Rob the Swash |
