Nailing It!!!by ohiochaseComment by rachelellen: This is an odd kind of motion shot. The blur seems to be... not from motion? I don't know. The mat is sharp, the gymnast is sharp, the girl in the background is relatively sharp, but there's this blur going on, rather randomly when I really look. Is that a filter? |

Nailing It!!!by ohiochaseComment by GrayGhost: Nice image and there's evidence that you did pan. But for better motion panning effect, don't use your flash. Using flash will freeze an instant and you will loose the separation of the subject from the motion-blurred background. In your image, you can see lots of sharp background from the flash. |
