you've tried to emulate an amazing photographer, and missed completely.. edward weston's pepper shots show amazing tonal range, this is totally flat. weston's images are extremely sexual in nature, and again, this gives nothing even slightly resembling sexual form.
i commend you for looking at the work of a great photographer, but using his name in your title is a bit insulting :p

Oh, very nice!

Color, saturation, hue, brightness, contrast and exposure are all done very well.

It could just be an optical illusion cause by the ground dropping away to the left of the trail, and a lean of the closest tree on the left, but the camera seems to have been a little off level.

The trail comes of as a little centered, but as good as the rest of the picture is, it isn't bad. Rule of thirds purists, may have voted you down a bit.

Overall a very good photo and it makes me want to go there to experience this too.
