All goneby jensmustangComment by srbrubaker: The invisible subject; very minimal. I can see that the rim of the bowl is in focus, yet the photo has a kind of blurry quality to it that really bothers me. I think part of it is due, ironically, to the fact that the blue background seems to have more crisp texture in it than the subject bowl. ANd the placement of the bowl seems a little haphazard. I like the blueness. |

A few suggestions.. (only opinion)
try a lower level for your camera at an angle more looking up but still getting the foot in there... though not too much just to help with keeping the backdrop and nothing else from showing... Also a cover or using the same backdrop let it drape over top the chair to make things blend and that would really make a nice studio affect.. though now that I look that might not be material is it the wall painted there... Its a great shot anyways.. |

Actually, your flower really isn't my style.
Looks like the original was very bright, then inverted. Artsy, but not a style I care a lot for. |

:P
Just razzin ya, Jen. This is an interesting shot - a little too dark for my liking. Can you post some details in the comments box for it? Like what is it, what did you do to it on the computer, etc. |

Life after deathby jensmustangComment by charliebaker: Excellent title moving this photo into another realm, that of faith and hope beyond the grave. I like the glow around the open door. Thanks for this excellent entry. |
