The Light Insideby xertionComment by dacrazyrn: this is a very interesting shot. Having a hard time deciding if it is duotoned. I can tell the blues (that can go to a dark blue that looks black, and light blue to almost white), but the magenta showing on the white half squares and the mid left walkway are confusing me. ahhh what the crap, who cares |

The Light Insideby xertionComment by Patlin: Fantastic! The lighting has erie contrast
and appears you used levels for the vivid blue? Great asymetric tension. |

3D glass illusionby xertionComment by briphoto: Greetings from the CC!
First impression-very nice shot, just a little simple.
To me it seems the color, focus and lighting were excellent. The only problem I found was with the composition. It seems too symmetrical, which is not always a bad thing, but if a less symmetrical composition could be done, it should. Of course, I wasn't there, so I don't know what other angles presented themselves. Keep shooting! |

Austin postcardby xertionComment by jmsetzler: Greetings from the Critique Club :)
Hi Xertion...
I like the general composition of this photo... It looks like a fine composition for a postcard... The symmetry works very well.
The puffy white clouds in the blue sky are always nice. The can really enhance a photo. The only area I see that could be improved in this particular photo is possibly the time of day you shot it... The front of the building seems to be a little on the dark side... I don't know if a differnt time of day would have lit it up more or not...
Good work :)
