DSC04749_CranmoreNigt_640.jpgby mfairbanksComment by SJCarter: This looks really cool, but I'm not exactly sure what I'm looking at... I assume that it's a ski resort? I love the polarizer effect on the lights (I've gotta get me one of those!). |

Covered Bridgeby mfairbanksComment by SJCarter: Nice shot. I love covered bridges (just took some of Humpback Bridge in Covington, VA recently). This is a tad bright, but I like the perspective. |

Snowmaking On Attitash Mountain 4:52amby mfairbanksComment by itsgodswork: this is a postcard shot... wonderful composition (leading lines), S curve composition... great lighting.... to make this shot a hit... i see too much magenta i need to see the true whites of the snow and add more green on the trees... theres a shadow in the front towards my right its distracting.... a border would be nice buts its still great without it.....
great job
excellnt effort
Very fine grade |

Holiday Settingby mfairbanksComment by ShutterPug: ** Greetings from the Critique Club **
The focus here seems to be on the lights, not the subject matter of Fork, Knife, Spoon. This might have faired better with me had the utensils been out in front, lights set back a bit, and a shallow DOF. This just seems too flat. You might also try shooting a shot like this from an angle instead of straight on to make it more interesting. I do think the selective desat was a nice touch. Your lighting worked out well too.
