** Greetings from the Critique Club **

The focus here seems to be on the lights, not the subject matter of Fork, Knife, Spoon. This might have faired better with me had the utensils been out in front, lights set back a bit, and a shallow DOF. This just seems too flat. You might also try shooting a shot like this from an angle instead of straight on to make it more interesting. I do think the selective desat was a nice touch. Your lighting worked out well too.

I think you needed to have a deeper DOF so the subjects were more in focus, or a shallow DOF with the flatware in focus and the lights not. The desat was a good idea and you thought your set up well.

I'm never a fan of selective desaturation.

Cute idea! I love the way the lights were picked out. Wish I could learn to do that lol I've been working on it though! You're a pro!

I really like the dullness of the silverware, and the colors of the lights

Excellent timing. I love the idea and like the focus is on the lights.

A sumptous sense of humor. Very creative and right in time for the holidays. I would have called it: "Christmas carol"
