Melting . . .by SmittyDFWComment by blindjustice: There is something really nice about this shot- I can't identify the exact root of my affection- the lighting, color temp, overall feel- but I like the impression I get very much- isn't that what photography is all about in the end? |

The Ladybug Who Wouldn't Leaveby SmittyDFWComment by Brad: Nicely toned & detailed Macro. Not sure if a different crop would have helped this a little, as the apple completely takes my eyes away from the Ladybug. Nice in any regard. ((7)) |

The Ladybug Who Wouldn't Leaveby SmittyDFWComment by Skip: what a fun image, loaded with potential. the way you have it composed, though, the ladybug is not really contributing to an otherwise fine piece of fruit. it looks to me that you could have cropped in much, much tighter and made the beetle your primary subject. oh well, what do i know? good luck in the challenge! |

The Ladybug Who Wouldn't Leaveby SmittyDFWComment by notonline: In my opinion the crop is to wide.and not tall enough. I find that your picture is only really about the size of a pinky finger nail (lady bug) and the rest of the picture is boring or lacking subject (body). Keep up the good work and better luck in 2005 |
