Nicely toned & detailed Macro. Not sure if a different crop would have helped this a little, as the apple completely takes my eyes away from the Ladybug. Nice in any regard. ((7))

How you like those apples, nice shot.

what a fun image, loaded with potential. the way you have it composed, though, the ladybug is not really contributing to an otherwise fine piece of fruit. it looks to me that you could have cropped in much, much tighter and made the beetle your primary subject. oh well, what do i know? good luck in the challenge!

Very cute. You haven't quite got close enough for this to have much of an impact on me, but I like the thought behind this - a very sweet image.

A little dark, more a picture of the apple.

In my opinion the crop is to wide.and not tall enough. I find that your picture is only really about the size of a pinky finger nail (lady bug) and the rest of the picture is boring or lacking subject (body). Keep up the good work and better luck in 2005

Image is a little dark and the ladybug doesn't stand out as well as it could. The subject is a bit too centered for me. Maybe a different angle or crop would work better.

I think it's a little underexposed and could have been cropped more to the right. Interesting image anyway.
