re-edited-horse.jpgby sheapodComment by Jutilda: LOVE LOVE LOVE this. I have a great appreciation for horses although I hardly know anything about them. This guy's face is so expressive. I just think you captured his essence. Great shot. |

re-edited-horse.jpgby sheapodComment by Zed Pobre: Much better looking, the best of the three, I think. He (she?) looks cheerful. My only complaint is that now the scene seems a little dark. Do you have a Selective Color adjustment in whatever you're using? Try pulling some black out of the red and yellow channels to lighten up the browns without blowing the whites. |

edited-spoon-bill-copy.jpgby sheapodComment by nico_blue: great job! the deep colors look amazing, particularly the pinks, reds and greens! I think the bird's head could be a bit lighter to stand out against the dark tree behind. Thats my only complaint... I think this is a really really great shot. |

Channel-Mixer.jpgby sheapodComment by nico_blue: the first thing i notice is the white fur on the tiger, not sure its a good or bad thing but it def. stands out to me. I think it might be slightly blown out. Seeing your original i would say that this is def. a tough shot to covert to black and white without the aid of levels or curves so I would say as far as tonal range you have a few white, not too many light greys, a lot of dark greys and blacks. Good job with the exercise, now to bring the image to its full potential feel free to go ahead and do levels and curves to improve it. |

Duotone3.jpgby sheapodComment by oOWonderBreadOo: This one is perfect! The tonal range is especially good. The yellowish tone is very subtle but works great. good job! :0) |

Duotone.jpgby sheapodComment by oOWonderBreadOo: I really like this image but I agree the green is a bit much. I would think a grey blue might work well or maybe a blue green. It would be fun to see a green for the shadows and blue with highlights or vice versa! |
