Pick A Card...by storytellerComment by Dr.Confuser: Woody wins the Celebrety Poker Showdown! The cards are nicely focused. The photo would be better without the folds (or shadows) in the background, IMO. |

Big Rigby storytellerComment by w24x192: Interesting subject matter...Legos rock. But, I'm not sure about why this is in black & white...what about the photo is improved by showing it in black & white? |

Big Rigby storytellerComment by IstariV: inspire me, give me a a reason here, just legos and shadows, even as well done as this is, has a hard time being seen as high art. Tell a story with your composition and you will have a wonderful picture. |

Big Rigby storytellerComment by Gauti: neat idea. Should have worked for Macro w/o B/F as well. One small nag: irritating reflecton (wheel) on the back wall. The BG is kinda too neutral |

Up Close and Personalby storytellerComment by Konador: I think you needed to be slightly furtehr back from the subject because it is out of focus at the moment. Also, a more interesting background would be good too. |

I Like Blueby storytellerComment by pcody: You might find that voters like clean precise compositions. The idea of the photo was valid enough and can still lead to an exploration of the subject. This photo looks too cluttered and is not arranged in a pleasing fashion. I would suggest picking two items that have a relationship to each other, say the stapler and ruler, and working on different compositions just using them. When you have a pleasing shot, add another item. Try not to use more than 3 objects. Good luck. |

I Like Blueby storytellerComment by adine: You have a nice range of blues here. The light is a bit to glaring. Perhaps more subtle lighting from one side with a "bounce" on the other side? or acouple of lights a different angles depending what you'd like to do with your shadows. The image doesn't seem quite sharp also - does you camera have a manual setting, sometimes the photographer's eye is better than the camera's. |
