The petals make a really interesting pattern, but it seems that there was not much light and the image seems a little flat.

Still love this image. Writing another book, to be titled "A Fraction of the Feast: Cultural Anthropology and Human Experience." Looking to see if you had anything appropriate, as I think it would be way cool to use another of your photographs as a book cover.

The part of the flower most in focus is in the center of the shot. I think the focus could be sharper, and additional lighting could be used to take away the shadows.
