Portrait of a Beautyby GlieseComment by damjanev: The mixed-colour lighting is a white balance nightmare. Unless this is a desired effect, B&W might be a solution for this.
Nice tight crop, BTW. Brave on your side not including the lens. It is a bit like a human portrait without including the eyes. It might work. |

Waveby GlieseComment by Neat: lovely abstract...the oil drops are a bit soft though, and I would of cropped two inches of the top off; the black splothcy marks add nothing to the this image, already voted. |

Waveby GlieseComment by timb: Interesting shot, although I'm not sure exactly what I'm looking at. The colors are pretty awesome here. |

Effervescence by GlieseComment by Gliese: This really took me a long time to post back on this image. My apologies. It's actually a moss that I'd found growing on Arabia Mountain Nature Preserve in Georgia, USA. The aperture control on my tubes had stopped working and I took about 30 images before I realized what was happening. The composition isn't all that great but I liked the soft focus and the colors. I used Niksoftware ColorFX to add glamour glow and soft focus further blending the image and reducing noise. I've since gotten new tubes =)
