This really took me a long time to post back on this image. My apologies. It's actually a moss that I'd found growing on Arabia Mountain Nature Preserve in Georgia, USA. The aperture control on my tubes had stopped working and I took about 30 images before I realized what was happening. The composition isn't all that great but I liked the soft focus and the colors. I used Niksoftware ColorFX to add glamour glow and soft focus further blending the image and reducing noise. I've since gotten new tubes =)

I do like the colours and idea but I'd have preferred more focus.

This is interesting to look at. I don't know if the haze was added in post or just due to the conditions but I like the fact that the tips of the plant are pretty sharp. I might recommend more of an S-curve or just added contrast and maybe some more red added in for the shadows and midtones. I feel like the reflections on the plant that is in focus could have been eliminated for a simpler photo overall and it would look nicer.

Color blending is awesome and the first thing that I noticed.. Not sure of what subject this is, but it reminds me of some water or plants of some sort..

It works.. to my eyes I was searching for more details
for the abstracting it works great

Macro stuff I can not comment on because I am learning myself
