Rhythmby dhareComment by TabbyCat: In my opinion, this is too... I don't know, stationary? It needs some dynamic action, such as perhaps making the stick slightly diagonal and maybe a slower shutter speed to give the stick some action blur (or keep the same shutter speed and flick the stick really, really fast). Nice shot, though! Very good DOF and the salt (or whatever the jumping specks are) are a very nice touch! |

The Fishermanby dhareComment by PerezDesignGroup: I tend to really like pensive lonely shots like this. And this is superb. Focus, colors and overall mood are there. My only concern is the fishing rod. When my eyes follow it, it leads me right off the photo instead of 'into' it. Also, the fact he's facing something off-photo kinda throws me off. That aside, it's a solid 7 for now. Had he been on the right I could safely guess an 8. |

The Fishermanby dhareComment by dartompkins: I love the color and the horizontal lines. The horizon is the slightest bit off. Be very careful with that, especially when the horizontal lines play a huge role in the composition. Beautiful color. I love the simplicity. 7. |

The Fishermanby dhareComment by Faye Pekas: I love the colors of the sky. You really need to straighten up that horizon though. There is a great tutorial on how to do that here on DPC. |

Rhythmby dhareComment by bpickard: 80's Brit boyband 'Bros' did this in one of their videos! Not enough contrast. |

The Fishermanby dhareComment by MrAkamai: Horizon does not appear to be level and the water on the sand seems to emphasize that fact. Good job of placing the person on the 1/3 mark. Sky appears to be overexposed. |
