Softby jefalkComment by dogz: Everything looks sharp to me, so points lost for that. However, it's a beautiful picture and great lighting so I won't score low. Some will debate even though dof may be only a couple of inches, to me part of the photo should make it look like a wide aperture was used to make the sharp parts stand out. Here, just the black does that. (and the frame). |

Softby jefalkComment by batmaing: DOF is not very apparent in this picture. The high contrast between the background and the flower makes it look almost artificial. I think if a shadow would've been cast on the background as well or there was something to show that the background wasn't just a void of blackness, it would've helped it a bit. |
