if that wierd line and texture wasn't in the background, this would be an outstanding shot. As it is now, it is still pretty great. You should definitely do some illegal editing on this after the challenge.

The only thing I don't care for in this photo is the plastic (or vinyl or whatever it is) dropcloth you have under and behind your setting. The glare is distracting and steals away from the glow of the candle (which might look better sharpened). If the "something blue" is intended to be the netting over the plastic, it gets somewhat lost. I do like the concept and the lighting you chose.

the background attracts a lot of attention. Composition could have been a bit stronger, more outspoken. The rose, the candle and the shoe now all blend together.
